[[rs2515475]] is a SNP in the angiopoietin 2 [[ANGPT2]] gene.

A study of 1,529 critically ill patients with risk factors for acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), of whom 449 did develop ARDS and 1,080 did not, found that carriers of a [[rs2515475]](T) allele were at higher risk for ARDS (adjusted odds ratio 1.28, p = 0.042).
